Founded in 1992, Rebuilding Together Oakland County has rebuilt over 450 homes and some non profit facilities ("Rebuilding Togther Oakland County") 

This year, 51 home across Oakland county including the lakes area were repaired and transformed (Niemi, Angela).

 

Rebuilding Together on the national level began in 1988 with 13 loosely organized programs (rebuilding togther oakland press).
